I have been trying to get a hold of Rob - we were supposed to have a call yesterday, but something came up. Anyway, I am going through a recomp and this is my first run of the BP program. My question is, after the 72 hour refeed - the five workouts involving bench and squat only, are these consecutive days or is it a 1 on 1 off, 1 on 2 off, etc? Just need to know the amount of rest days recommended. Thanks.

Depends from person to person, but I believe its suggested that you start with 1 on, 2 off, but you could probably go 1 on 1 off if you want.
Key is that if you think you need an extra rest day... take it!
Hope that helps!!

Thanks for the reply - have you tried different rest days? Which worked best for you?

It depends on your recovery.. when you are recovered from the previous workout.. do the next one.. Dont workout if you are still sore

1off1on at the best...I learnt not to do more than that the hard way.

bad advice, you could not be sore at all but CNS could be toasted.

I think you misunderstand me I was advocating more rest.
I want you to explain to me how if I don't feel like I even worked out anymore(completely recovered) that
1. its going to have been LESS than 1 day of rest
or
2. If it has been 3-4 days that my CNS ISNT recovered..

Let me make sure I am not crazy, and reading BP right. Today is my first workout #1 after FAMINE. Am I only supposed to do one set of bench press, DB pullovers, Squat, and SLDL??? Thats it?

correct but I recommend you working up to your working set with sets of 1 as you get towards your working sets..

I would base it on your workout experience
I can handle a huge amount of workload with very little rest between workouts (i.e. i could probably do ever day)
but 1 on/1 off is generally what i like to do for the first 5

Thanks! Without doing full EDT blocks, my recovery would easily be 1 on 1 off.
