did not sleep much last night. i went to an awesome dance party and was dancing and jumping around for almost 3 hours and by the end of the night my knee was sore, which is typical. ended up staying up late watching a movie with someone and just wasnt able to sleep in this morning.

before breakfast i took dicana
breakfast was 3 mini egg and cheese omelets and a plain bagel
preworkout i took primaforce vitaberry sample packet (just to get more water into my system), and a sample of APS white lightning because of how tired i was. its recommended not to take dicana with stims, so i skipped my second dose.
intra workout i drank 2 scoops purple intrain and 6g of citrulline malate
pwo shake was 1/4 cup oats, 1 scoop protalyn, 1 tbsp peanut butter
dinner was 2 grilled chicken breasts, bowl of carrots, broccoli, and cucumbers with 1 tbsp ranch

i hit all the reps in the workout today. knee held up fine after last night, and my back held up fine again as well. squatting was a struggle as i expected, but benching was a lot harder than what i expected. tbar rows were about what i expected them to be.

squat- 135x10, 215x5, 215x5, 215x5, 215x5

bench- 100x15, 165x5, 165x5, 165x5, 165x5

superset with tbar rows- +45x15, +115x5, +115x5, +115x5, +115x5

Pretty cool and VERY happy for you.

Keep in mind this time shouldn't be too stressful. You do have the liberty here of not "pushing things" in terms of 5RM's etc. so if you feel on the edge of burnout, etc. take appropriate action.

How do you like Cruise/Maintenance so far?

feels good so far. im trying to focus on getting as much protein as i can and keeping calories to 2100-2400 a day.
most of the stress i believe is just from lack of sleep. and squats are always hard for me anyways. they tend to get easier towards the end due to my legs warming up/stretching out more.

Right there with you on the lack of sleep thing (lately). It's nothing bad, but I'm coming up an hour short a night for 1-2 nights in a row. Prior to training day, I think this can make a difference.

Why is this?

For once I don/t have a concrete answer. It could be due to a number of factors. The pineal gland for example, could be secreting less melatonin as you age. Cellular aging (oxidation) could be contributing. As you get older, your mental library of life experience multiplies.....and with it your subconcious. How many of us have been kept up thinking/worrying about relationships/financial hardships?

The last element I'm VERY curious of is lack of sleep "rebound". When you're young, you can go for a few nights (sometimes a week or more!) with little sleep at night and presto, you're fine. You may take a few hours in the morning to shake off the cobwebs but later in the day.... no issues.

This I am VERY convinced goes back to optimal test levels. Why? Because back in the day I used to combine 4-androdiol and ATD in a transdermal complex homebrew and that stuff KICKED like ephedrine+caffeine+ the recently pulled Slim Xtreme.

Enjoy it while you're young. Best I can tell you is to seek balance in life. If I had to do it over again, I would have put more effort at an earlier age into meditation, Yoga and prayer.

i do, but its honestly all they have for breakfast. i dont eat red meat, so i cant have breakfast ham, sausage, bacon, etc. also the premade eggs they have are powdered, so i just get the omelet and whole eggs instead.
but even at home, i eat 6-8 eggs for breakfast sometimes with turkey

Damn fine protein source and would be almost perfect if you could eat them without being heated.

I just love them. As an aside, even large 6+ eggs/day didn't budge my cholesterol levels. At one point over a dozen/day didn't budge them.

To be fair, that was on Mauro DiPasquale's Anabolic Diet, which oxidizes fat and cholesterol for fuel vs. depositing them as triglyceride when carbs are consumed alongside fats (carbs being the body'd preferred fuel).
