You mean this kind of stuff really goes on at other companies? :)

What a scam. And that's the right word for it: SCAM. Thanks for staying above board John/MASS.....

Well, I have seen this alluded to on two popular sites known for reviews! NEITHER of those, to the best of my knowledge, have EVER given bribes, but some of their VENDORs HAVE!!!! And you can see a pattern of how it is done.

One famous marketer once created a book on how to become a best seller on amazon. It was an INSTANT "success", and became a best seller! Sounds GREAT, RIGHT!?!?!? GREAT SUCCESS, RIGHT!?!?!? Well, I was among the first to see when it hit. I read the book. It was a SCAM! He took a popular and EXPENSIVE piece of software and basically offered it, and bonuses, for FAR less(in fact I believe it was FREE), IF the person bought his amazon book during that day. Most may never even have read the book. THAT was generally not what they wanted.

AND, on a marketing site, they were upset about the "new" FTC law that said you couldn't post false reviews and, if any were given ANYTHING, that they should state how they were paid. The FTC was created 96 years ago to do EXACTLY that sort of thing. The "new laws" were not new, but codifications of existing law. Much like they say you can't steal, but then create new laws that are just about car theft. Still, that it was even an issue shows how rampant the problem is.

Actually, it is the WORLD. But I was just illustrating how you were right. Like everything else on tthe internet, it is TOO easy to lie, and MANY do.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling though we encouraged/spread this nonsense. Just like McDonalds/KFC, we're starting to poison India/China and other countries with that crap.

Look up YUM on the stock exchange. They manage Pizza Hut, KFC etc and are pouring ALL of their money into foreign markets.

I work in health insurance and am privy to a lot of inside information. The obsesity, adult onset diabetes rates etc. in these countries is EXPLODING as it is here in the U.S.

Absolutely atrocious. When you combine that with our world famous greed, political corruption etc. it's no wonder certain people hate us...

Be a part of the solution. By being a part of the community here, you already are :)

Well, YUM IS a stock in my portfolio. The high glycemic carbs, and fat frying are what REALLY cause the obesity, etc... And a few things at taco bell are pretty nice. And long john silvers. BOTH are yum companies, by the way.

You can't solely blame US for greed and corruption, since many OTHER countries do it. I can blame OUR country, or even others, because I am talking about it on an absolute basis. Sadly, I must realize the US isn't that high and mighty. So I can't say the US is better than say china in ALL ways. But I can hate china AND the US for various failings.
