John's first BP run

Post by John »

Hey Everyone,

Today is my first BP run. currently I am 6'2", 291 pounds with 29.1% body fat. My goal is to cycle through BP until I get down to 10% bf. I have lifted off and on for 10 years now and recently for 2 months. I am excited to shed the unwanted fat and start living a healthier lifestyle.

LBM = 206
Total Fat = 85 lbs.

Good luck to me.....

Today is day 1 of famine.
Will keep you updated.

Thanks Rob, I only did 1 set of each of my bicep lifts, right? Also, I am really needing to shed the body fat. Do i want my caloric intake in famine to be 8x206 my lbm or 8x290, my overall weight?

Thanks.

Day 1, Famine. legs-back-bis

leg press, 10 plates x 6, 6, 6
superset with
seated cable rows, 200 x 6, 6, 6

1 arm rows, 90 x 6, 6, 6
superset with
assisted pull ups, 100lb x 6, 6, 6

barbell curls, 95 x 6
preacher curls, 110 x 6
incline db curls, 45 x 6

2 minute rest between all supersets

15 minutes of cardio.

Day 1 is finished.

Just about 1500 calories yesterday. Actually feels pretty good eating healthy fruits and vegetables all day. I was hungry all day, tough adjustment.

Rest day 2 day......Another update tomorrow.

OK man, proceed cautiously and keep us posted!
