New to the blueprint, few questions before starting

I wont be starting until the end of december because I will be going out of town for a week or so and wont be able to workout
some info about me- i'm 20, 6' 174lbs
I've been working out about a year consistently
have been doing bill starrs 5x5 for the past 14 weeks
last week I didnt workout at all due to a dog bite

I'm planning on continuing 5x5 for next 2 weeks before I go out of town
then starting blueprint a week or so after i'm back
is this ok? or should I just not workout?

should I try to eat on any kind of diet for this time frame?

should I be taking anything besides a multi during this time frame??

I have a number of vitamins and supplements but think I may save them until I start

On your off week, simply eat at maintenance levels for calories (know what this is) and monitor your average waking daily heart rate.

Your 5 x 5 protocol is a nice base going into things. Read, re-read and formulate questions. MOST IMPORTANT: Take it ONE week at a time.
