New Progenex - Nothing But Hydrolyzed Whey?

This, from Anthony Robert's blog:
Progenex lab tests: Just regular whey protein
Progenex is just whey protein. Did you get that? I’ll say it again, just in case you didn’t understand me the first time: PROGENEX IS JUST WHEY PROTEIN. It’s nothing special. I don’t know if the old formula was anything to write home about, but the new stuff certainly isn’t. A recent laboratory test conducted by Ray-Biotech, of Norcrossm GA, was performed to determine if there were any live, active, growth factors in Progenex (TGF-β-1, etc…).
As you can see, answer was no, and the result was zero. There’s nothing in here that makes me believe that Progenex is anything but whey protein (no, not even teh logs, brah). Was this stuff forged in the fires of Mordor? Where are the 11 herbs and spices? The stuff turned out to be a commodity whey protein hydrolysate, similar to what you’d get in any $20 tub of whey protein from any reputable manufacturer; except Progenex is charging $125 for their stuff.
There’s nothing in here that makes it any better than any other whey protein hydrolysate on the market. And of course, I realize that the boys over at Progenex will begin (yet) another Internet campaign attacking me because I’ve exposed them again…but remember, in all of their attacks on me, they’ve never once articulated what makes their product special, who designed it (and what his credentials are), or provided an iota of science to justify the outrageous pricetag they’ve put on a (regular) bag of whey.
They’ve certainly had more than enough time to provide some shred of science to justify their claims, haven’t they?
Frankly, you can get twice as much high quality whey/hydrolysate from a company like Optimum, for half the price of Progenex.
According to Dr. Layne Norton, the new Progenex differs from the old one because: ”the company is no longer using the bioactive fractions that are present because the process of converting hydrolyzed protein to an isolate destroys them.“Furthermore, the difference between the old product and the new product has been noticed by everyone from Crossfit coaches to Patrick Arnold. This isn’t just a technical or theoretical difference, it’s one that was noticed in training, by genuine customers; customers who have said they will no longer be using Progenex.
When you consider the fact that the new stuff isn’t giving people the same results as the old stuff, and lab tests show that it’s just whey protein, I can’t imagine why anyone would consider (or keep) buying it. Unless they don’t want to admit that the emperor has no clothes.
