My favourite is hemp protein: per 30g serving you get 15g protein 8g fibers and 400mg omega 3 for 110 calories.

I mix it with greens for added nutritional value and taste. I like to take as morning snack. Really helps with regularity. And it's one of the rare complete vegan protein.

Nothing beats having a beneficial reason to eat eggs and steak ^^! Cottage cheese is pretty good from time to time as well.

Kroger Carbmaster yogurt is the only secret I have that didn't already make the list.
Its usually on sale for about $.40 per container, low carbs and around 12g of protein.
The taste is not exactly Yoplait, , but every flavor is good.

I often pickup hemp hearts at the bulk food store. pound for pound it's a bit pricey but it's nice to have in your cupboard when you don't feel like cooking chicken. I usually mix it with some unsweetened applesauce for a nice little snack.

Also on the peanut butter front... try mixing some natural PB in with a protein shake... one I like is:

-milk
-chocolate protein powder
-banana
-uncooked oatmeal
-natural peanut butter

you'll begin to love the taste in no time...

Another way to get to like it is to do a strict pre-contest diet... once you're on a diet of nothing but chicken and broccoli PB will seem like a dessert!
