Took the plunge

Post by blanchdawg »

So I took the plunge and purchased the BP system. I'm a long time customer of John Drake's over at MuscleMass and if John says this is a good program, I believe him - the folks at MuscleMass have never led me astray.

I've been lifting for about 16 years now and I've hit a point where it's hard to put on muscle / lose fat. I'm hoping that with the BP system I can breakthrough this sticking point.

Time to start going through the manual. I'm sure I'll have questions. Glad to be part of the BP family.

Oh yeah - right now 6'0 at 204lbs. Max bench is around 305; have not maxed out on the squat in a long time - work sets are between 315 and 405. I don't know my BF %.

Welcome aboard!

Yeah, great to have another long time MASS customer here. You may be overwhelmed with things at first, but rest easy. Guys like Hank and I are here to take you through it, step by step.

Excited for your BP Journey. A cursory glance at our logs should tell you why.... :)

BTW, what's your favorite MASS product and why?

I'm a long time Mass Pro user - Mass doesn't even sell the flavor I originally started buying back in the 90's. Chocolate Banana Split was the best. Good quality protein. I don't like my protein too sweet though, so I tend to mix the Mass Pro MVP with the Mass Pro Chocolate to tone down the flavor.

Gamma GH is also a favorite of mine - easy to time just before bed for a good GH spike.

AskMass - what happened to the Chocolate Banana Split?

Me too. Love me some Mass Pro. Take heart in this... every cell in your body is rebuilt in a years time from the quality protein MassPro delivers. You're chock full of glutathione and hopefully you keyed in on that in The BP.

I did rather like the choc banana split flavor too!

Thanks for the kind words, blanchdawg.

The Banana Split flavor was one of the many special edition flavors we've done over the years, and we did several big runs of it because it was popular.

We have also done Georgia Peach, Berry Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, etc. as some other examples.

Sometimes, I wish we could have 6-7 flavors ongoing, but it just isn't possible. Many companies only do 1-2 now, but we try to maintain 4 flavors ongoing with a special run or two each year.

Speaking of which, we're about due to have another special edition, so we'll take the Banana Split requests to heart!

In all honesty, Rob, production lead times on our protein these days is 10 weeks minimum since we test so extensively.

We have MVP and Hershey's in stock currently, with Vanilla coming in a few more weeks and then Berries & Cream due after that, sometime in mid-late November.

We'll be looking at the new year for a custom flavor.
