It's marketed as 5 time more potent then fish because the omega 3's are in the form of phospholipids. It also contains antioxidant (vitamins A and E, astaxanthin, canthaxanthin) and are lower in heavy metals contamination than fish oil. Another bonus: it supposed to be more stable than fish oil, so it won't turn rancid as quick.
It is a better alternative verses the typical store brand fish oils IMO, but does not beat the Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega we have always distributed. Nothing really compares for ultra-clean, 110% certified contaminant free, RICHLY charged fish oil. It is the best of the best.
I have heard of krill oil, but it seemed pretty expensive...sticking to fish oil for right now...on a side note, good to see u back BigPelo...I have someone to takk hockey with when the season gets underway....super optimistic about our chances this year
