Beefcake's BP Cut - 2 Runs

Yoooo... first run flopped, so this will be my first full run.

I started Jan 2nd, so today is my 3rd day of Famine, so far so good. Will be doing the 2nd workout tonight when I get off work.

My HR watch is not very good at finding my minimum HR in the morning so I let it run while I'm half passed out (usually after having walked around so it's a little higher than it should be); I let it run about 5 minutes and then shows me the average HR.

START PICS:
ImageImageImage

Day 1:
Weigh-in: 69.6kg
Waking HR: 75 (Min ~70?)
Cardio: 45 minutes @~159bpm
Cals: ~467

Workout:
BB Squats 65lbs x 6 / 6 / 6
1-Arm DB Rows 30lbs x 6 / 6 / 6
(Squats almost parallel; pic coming soon)

Standing EzBar Curl 30x6
Incline DB Hammer Curls 15x6
Standing EzBar Curl 30x6

Squats were a little lighter than they should have been but not by much - legs in the lower position are still VERY weak from my surgery. Rows were a comfortable full ROM weight, but I can do more. First set of curls were too easy but the hammer curls I fought for the last 2 reps and then the 2nd set of curls were brutal.

Day 2:
Weigh-in: 67.8kg
Waking HR: Avg 77 (min ~73)
Cardio: 45 min @~138bpm
Cals: ~807

Day 3:
Weigh-in: 67.6kg
Waking HR: Forgot to take :(
Cardio: 30 min @~125bpm (had some troubles...)
Cals: ~ 400

Workout:
WG Bench Press/DB Shoulder Press: 85lbs x 10 / 30lbs x 4
CG Bench Press/DB Shoulder Press: 75lbs x 8 / 20lbs x 7
Incline Bench Press/DB Shoulder Press: 65lbs x6 / 15lbs x 6
Decline Bench Press/DB Shoulder Press: 65lbs x 6 / 10lbs x 10
Decline CG Bench Press 55lbs x 9
Skullcrushers 20lbs x 10 (shouldve tried 25)
Tricep Kickback 10lbs x 10 (barely)

It's always a shock as to how much this workout absolute brutalizes me... I'm going to check out my other log to compare numbers.... I may have started out stronger this time but I know I got a hell of a lot weaker. I have only consumed maybe 200 calories today though...

Day 4:
Weigh-in: 66.5kg (-6.8 lbs)
Waking HR: ~78 avg (68 min) = difference: didnt have to go get my hr mon, wore it overnight. no walking pre-measurement.
Cardio: 60 min AM fasted
Cals: ~682

Day 5:
Weigh-in: 66.3kg (-3.3kg=-7.26lbs)
Waking HR (2min): avg 82 (min 72)

Cardio: 45min (fasted AM)
Cals: ~615

Workout:
BB Squats 65lbs x 12 / 12 / 12
1-Arm DB Rows 35lbs x 12 / 30 x 12 / 25 x 12

Pretty sure my HR was ~190 the whole time. 0 energy. no.. -100% energy. I'm goin to bed.

Oral Enemas. Suck.

The End:
Weight: 66.3kg
Waking HR: min= 73

Tomorrow morning I'll probably try to do the HR thing without getting up first again... if it's higher than 68 (like in the 70s) I'll probably cut the famine short... I'll do the workout (besides being extremely hungry I'm feeling okay) and then begin eating.

I'm planning to take post-famine pictures, too... whether I post them or not depends on a few things lol

Tomorrow morning I'll update that first post info and I would very much like to know your verdict on whether or not to do a complete 5th day of famine or cut it short :)

It'll be updated by 5am EST lol

allie........ seriously....... you dont know how i feel on a liquid diet...

I've felt like a serial killer all day. I almost punched a coworker (at least I planned to do it if he kept pissing me off), I almost killed some pedestrians yesterday...

Beefcake is one angry bitch when dieting.
I'm surprised my GF is being so tolerating lol....

time to squat.... and maybe puke...

Haha well, who held a gun to your head and told you to eat babyfood for 5 days?! ;)

I'm getting to the giddy point in mine, everything is funny to me today.
