allieninja wrote:Sorry for the lack of updates, been super busy this week. Got a chance to take some measurements today though, here they are:

Tape measure:
Measurements (in inches):
- neck 13
- shoulders 41
- chest 33
- bust 35
- bicep 13
- forearm 10
- waist 27
- abdomen 33
- hips 37
- thigh (thickest part) 22
- thigh (midway) 19
- calf 13

CLIFFS:
- Chest size down 2 inches, but bust size up 1 inch.

Measuring chest right under my armpits above my boobs. Weird.

- Abdomen (where pants sit) down 1 inch.
- All other tape measurements remain the same as from the start.

Body fat:
Using the calculators found here:
https://www.linear-software.com/online.html

- Jackson/Pollock 7 caliper: 16.51%
- Jackson/Pollock 3 caliper: 15.5%
- Jackson/Pollock 4 caliper: 16.81%
- Parrillo Durnin/Womersley 9 caliper: 20.29%
- Parrillo Durnin/Womersley 4 caliper: 25.48%
- tape measure: 23.86%

CLIFFS:
-Some of these went down, and others went up. Equations are stupid. :p
-Since I've heard the Jackson/Pollock 7 is the most accurate method, I'll "track" that one.

Original bf% measurement = 18.85, minus today's measurement 16.51 = 2.34% bf lost so far.

Conclusion: measurements are going down in all the right places, muscles are holding steady, and body fat % is going down. So far so good!

COMMENT: Losing fat, bigger boobs.

If I die today, I'll consider this my finest hour :) You just don't see that....ever!

LMAO... I'm assuming it's the muscles underneath, and NOT the boobs. HOWEVER, I am SO FINE with that being the case, as the illusion of larger boobs is almost as good as the real thing.

I agree that this may be your finest hour, however you do have many of those so it's debatable. Hmm... nah... it's your finest hour ;)

I may not speak for all of us, but i suspect I speak for most of us: having two women in here running BP and on these forums is exciting. Exciting like when you have two new (and attractive) women move in next door right after you renew your lease :)

Thanks Allie, great log AND good sense of humor

*note no boob references

Boobies* = everyone wins. They literally make the world go around/a better place.

Air, water and funbags are needs, not wants. Midgets would be an example of the latter. I literally saw all 4 bouncing and/or flying through the air in one place this week. It was too much even for The Three Faces of Fear(tm).

Sensory overload doesn't even begin to describe it..

Does life get any better? I think not...

*NOTE: Multiple boobie references

PLEASE NOTE: my log is a boob-safe zone. In other words, you may talk about boobs freely in here.

In other news, here is diet and supplements for yesterday. I was a little under on calories, but I'll definitely more than make up for that today, since my sister is coming over and we're going to brunch. Mexican brunch is my one vice. Going to try to behave as best I can but not bother tracking for today because I have no idea how they cook it and I probably don't want to know.

Diet 1/22:

Mixelflick will be driving to wherever it is you currently you are to propose. Fortunately, Mix isn't married and therefore this is OK/all good :)

Rob's comments: Excellent work on the diet, incredible work ethic on the customized plan and a loss of 2% bodyfat/1" off the waist 2 weeks in ain't too shabby :)

Allie, please don't delete that double post.

If you do, I'm re-posting it. Maybe as a stickie with certain items highlighted/bolded :)

This, ladies and gentlemen.... is what is referred to as "brilliance"

There is simply no other word that adequately describes such creative thought/Allie :)

Today began what I am going to refer to as "HELL WEEK". Rob is making me do 5 sets of each exercise with a MINUTE rest in between. R u fn srs? So much pain. ;)

So anyway, today was the first one. It was pretty brutal, but I mostly got through it. I wanted to hurl more than one time, but I manged to not throw up pink "Eagle" all over the place. Go me.

Here's the workout:
(not including warm up sets)
underhand lat pulldowns: 7th plate x 10, 10, 10, 8, 8
squats: 75 x 10, 10, 10, 8, 8
pushups: 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
romanian deadlifts: 75 x 10, 85 x 10, 10, 10, 10
hanging leg raises: 10, 10, 10, 8, 8
decline crunch: 10, 10, 10, 10, 10

Kinda bummed I can't squeeze out 10 reps for all sets on all the exercises, but HOLY CRAP do those later sets burn with the small amount of rest in between. Rob is an evil genius, but mostly evil this week ;)

I am getting a decent pump from the cbol creatine now, and I'm pretty sure the cbol creatine/e-bol/bioforge combo is allowing me to do this type of high intensity workout at all. But I can't know for sure, because I've never done something like this before. I always used to rest at least 2 minutes in between sets, or until my heart rate was back down under 130-ish. Now it is up pretty high the entire time, which definitely impacts my concentration.

Will update with supplement dosings and diet tonight!

Zing!

Ok, let me put this out there. I LOVE SNOW. When the following statements sound like I'm complaining about snow, I'm not. I'm just stating facts. One of my favorite things in the whole world is a good snow day. It makes me feel 7 years old again. I love looking at it, playing in it, and anything else having to do with it - I don't even particularly mind shoveling it. With all that being said...

The snow is ruining my workout plans this week. Ok, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings were my own fault - I woke up late.

Tuesday I was going to go to the gym at night but ended up being at work until 9. Yesterday it started snowing around 6pm and they said it was going to be the worst between 7 and 12. So I didn't want to stay in the city to go to the gym and risk the subways not running by the time I got out.

So now it's Thursday which has turned into a snow day - office is closed. I am giddy like a little kid. However, that means I can't hit the gym yet again today. I've decided at this point that it's time to bust out the dumbbells at home and get in some kind of modified workout, because 3 days off is unacceptable. I'll need to use a stability ball instead of a bench, which should be interesting, since I don't have a bench at home. But it's something.
