First workout of Cruise. I'm changing up my exercises a bit to hit some different muscles and different angles, as well as to keep from getting bored. I'm using the 5X5 scheme also, which worked well for me in my last Cruise.
I did Cable Bench @ 120 lbs 5X5, Machine Shoulder Press @ 185 lbs 5X5, Close-grip Bench @ 185 lbs 5X5, and Machine Preacher Curls @ 125 lbs 5X5. Threw in a few sets of abs at the end.
Overall it was a pretty easy and straightforward workout. I'll ramp up the intensity next time.
The best news is my weight has finally jumped after stalling for several weeks. I'm not sure why it took so long, but I did lose a lot more on famine this time-8 lbs-and had a hard time gaining that back. But the last 2 weeks my body seems to have compensated at last and I'm up to 179.2.
I almost wonder if some of my problem didn't happen with the nasty storm that hit 3 weeks ago and dumped over a foot of snow on us. I had to shovel for over 3 hours over a period of 2 days. I think that, along with the intensity increasing in GLP 1 caused me to overtrain, even though I was still making my lifts.
