Full Update -

Final results from the meet were a 490 squat, 330 bench, and a 560 deadlift
Here's a couple vids :)

490 Squat - looking back at this i should have gotten that f*cking 505
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHejcOnK ... re=related

330 Bench - I missed my first attempt at 330 by inadvertently putting my grip too wide. stupid bars I'm not used to. Either way knocked it out on second try.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK9TAVixaoQ&NR=1

560 Dead
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDbDOuKK ... re=related

Overall this was a great meet, learned a few things about myself. (Don't overestimate your squatting ability - apparently? And overestimate your deadlifting ability and be careful not to hitch :P )

Here's the exact text exchange that took place, yesterday AM - word for word!!!

Big.Jaz/Hani: "Say a prayer for me Rob. Big day today and BP teeshirt is on..."

Rob: "If this is Hani, how ironic... I thought of your during my sprint sessions during High Intensity Interval Training this A.M., during cardio.."

Big.Jaz/Hani: "Its definately me! Records are records. Gonna kill it today"!

Mixelflick: "It is written then. The WORD and The DEED, go hand in hand. If not today, SOON!!!"

Big.Jaz/Hani: "Isiah chapter 40. I shall walk and not be weary..."

Big.Jaz/Hani: "480 SQ 330 bench 560 deadlift good for overall best lifter"

3Faces of Fear(tm): "The others do not know this yet, but you are the air that I breathe...."

Big.Jaz/Hani: "Glad to be. Couldn't have done this without you"!

You see folks, the man upstairs is leading The Blueprint Army - to the promised land. Another chapter of the BP Bible unfolded, yesterday...

Hani, were these records set at the WORLD'S? Regardless, I'll be coming out to see you soon, along with Dr. Scott Connelly and Ron Kramer, CEO of Thermolife International, to say "Thank You", in person. To shake the hand(s) of the men who INVESTED in me/The Blueprint...

More PR's will be set, more records will fall.... and when 3.0 drops, prior to a modest price increase*, BP is about to be taken to a WHOLE 'nother level.

You see folks, Hani is everything I/we were meant to be...

*When I say modest, it is not without some thought on my/our part. 3Faces of Fear(tm) have been there, scratching around in the car seats for quarters - to pay for gas.

I/we never forgot about that, either... :) :) :)

Sheiko MS Comp Day 2

today's workout was seriously ridiculous. Felt like I was trying to squeeze a whole meet day into a few hours. I got called into work and ended up having to split this workout into two, which wasn't such a bad thing as I was pretty spent after maxing out on bench and squat, probably wouldn't have gotten so much on deadlift had it not been for the time lapse.

Workout was as follows;

Squat
255x3
305x3
355x2x3
410x2x3
455x1
500x1 (teeny bit shallow)

Benchpress
170x3
205x3
240x2x3
275x3,2
305x1
330x1
315x1

Deadlift
280x3
335x3
385x2x3
455x2
505x1
555x1
535x1

Sheiko MS Comp Day 4

So as it turns out this particular sheiko routine has me hitting it monday/wednesday/friday/saturday. Death.

Never before have I consistently wanted to stop halfway through all of my workouts. This is gonna take some serious adjustment. I'm managing to finish everything but it SUCKS.

Workout was as follows;

Deadlift to knees
280x4
335x4
390x4x4

Incline DB Press
80x4
90x4

Box Deadlift
315x3
365x3
420x2x3

Straight Leg raises

Also did a bit of forearm work just because.. well.. i could.

These are signs Hani, signs to do the following!!

1.) Start using that hip belt + loading pin for 1/3rd of your DL/SQ sessions to get the vertical compression/bar OFF your back!!

2.) Insert just ONE extra rest day. Get AWAY from any "fixed" workout frequency right now!!

Call me at (860) 753-0373 anytime M-Sunday 9AM - 7PM EST if you need ANYTHING!!

Circumstances dictated that my dream was stolen from me, at your age (back injury, among them)...

I'll be damned if your dream is stolen too... :) :) :)

Honestly Rob I think it is just the first week or two of the higher end sheiko routines that are intended to be very over-reaching

almost very blueprint like, don'tcha think?

Sheiko MS Comp Day 5

Finishing these workouts is seriously difficult. I am doing it though. Set after set. Hour after hour. I won't give in. The sets of four to finish up my squats were just so.. long.

The calorie cut in the past few weeks has also taken some adjustment but I think I've gotten used to it.

I discovered that my local costco sells 20count boxes of skinny cows though, this may become a problem.

workout was as follows;

Squats
255x3
305x3
410x3x3
435x3x2

Bench
170x3
205x3
240x2x3
275x2x2
305x2x1
275x2x2

Low Pulley Cable Flies
60x10
75x10,10,10,9

Squats
255x4
305x4
355x4x4

Ab Wheel Rollouts
7,5,5

Honestly Hani, you are playing w/fire. They stole my dream (back injury, plus bad advice from BAD people).

Get this and get it good (please): YOU are the only thing, that can stop YOU now...

If you're not careful, you'll wind up like me... your dream will die. I spent the next 20 years searching, searching for a way to get it back. There was none.

The answer?

The Blueprint! Such that YOU don't have your dreams stolen, like I did...
