Warrior diet: 20 hours of controlled fasting, 4 hours of over eating at the end of the day, each day.
Eat stop eat: 2 x 24 hours water fasts, from 2pm on one day to 2pm the next day each week.
I haven't tried eat stop eat yet but both make sense.
For KA dosing protocol, right now I am doing:
- 1cap in the morning with multilife, alkaplex green+, fish oil, 6 oz greek yogourt
- 2 caps before workout with same as above (change yogourt for the formula)
- 1 cap right after workout with again ML, AG+, FO, the formula
- 1 cap with main meal
Non-training days:
1 cap with morning yogourt
2 caps with mid day fruits or veges or protein shake
2 caps with main meal
each time with multilife, alkaplex green+ and fish oil
Will be following an eat stop eat pattern...(fast 2 times per week)
My/our take is as follows.,,
Would it follow that the best fast days be on lifting days due to the huge increases in growth hormone? Could that impart anabolic effects overnight if training at night?
A, The night-time idea has merit, given GH and other hormones peak during this time..
Theoretically since Growth hormone amplifies other hormones, it should increase the effectiveness of testosterone released due to weight training, especially since there would be so much of it floating around....
Is taking Kre-Anabolyn useless on fast days, or would it still be a good idea to take it? I know it is recommended by some to take BCAA's while fasting as well...
A. Personal OPINION - I wouldn't take it on off days, without co-ingesting BCAA's.
If you do opt for this strategy, aggressive (VERY aggressive) fat loss should be your top priority!!

what about The Formula? Would that fit in this equation? Definitely would make the day not a fasting one...
and then include GABA for epic GH boost?
Fasting has been shown to boost GH by 600% by itself as the body releases bursts of GH to mobilize fat for energy and protect muscle from being broken down. Peak release is between 18-24 hours, then the levels of GH drop after that as the body adapts a more long term plan to deal with no food...
Formula definitely can be part of a fast day, since you will be starting the fast the previous day. For example, I would begin my fast at 8:45pm prior day, sleep, go to 8:45pm the following day(24 hours), start drinking the formula at 8:45pm and workout at 9pm.
Excited to try this, once this freaking gout goes away...
Got ya, so incorporate it at the end of a 18-24 hour fast.
I usually train at 6pm, and I go to bed before 10pm, so that puts me in the midrange of that (20 hours). Excellent....
That would make the formula my first meal of the day... I'd probably have to break the fast a little beforehand with some peanut butter with my KA. Or just with the BCAAs?

Intermittent Fasting is perfect for this......
The ideal, in my mind(s) is to have a small amount of fruit (consider a low glycemic, granny smith apple), about 30 min prior to the workout.
15 min prior, begin sipping on "The Formula"
RATIONALE: The small amount of fructose in the apple will provide just enough fructose to supply energy to the body/brain. Then, as you sip on "The Formula", it's lightening quick high molecular weight starches/amino acids hit your bloodstream at precisely the right time, the muscles soaking them up like a sponge...

Hope that helps...
Definitely agree on the fatloss bit. While also good for bulking, GH shines most at keeping mass when going into low body fat levels and also at getting to those low body fat levels.See the bf levels of arnold and such and compare to a few years later...

That's what "Mixelflick" told me, anyways...
Thank you so much Rob, I'll give this a try today and do double the volume I did last week (which was... next to nothing. Barely any soreness).
I sip on Creatine mix and BCAA's through the day during my fast.
I'll have an apple and BCAA's 30min pre-workout like you suggest, with 1 cap of KA?, and then dive into the formula.
Justin wrote:so you guys recommend fasting on Non-workout days?!?
Largely dependent upon somatype.
I have strong ecto-leaning tendencies, therefore I mitigate muscle loss with GammaGH + MassPro Amino. Here's how it works...
Every two hours I boost GH with GammaGH, then wait 15-30 min. and slam 5-10g of MPA.
REASON: If dosed together, GABA + BCAA's will compete for entry into the blood/brain barrier.
You can think of this tag-team as follows; The GammaGH stimulates GH/related growth peptide release and the MPA are the "workers", that help preserve or even BUILD!! muscle tissue...
MY/OUR TAKE: Absolutely fantastic way, to maximize your results. It makes your over-feeding on training days THAT much more productive.
