John or Rob, need an opinion
askmass,
I'm glad to find that you feel the same way. MAYBE there is still hope for the US. I don't know HOW we can get of SS, or the newer problems, though I guess the next generation will have to do something different.
And YEAH, I know supplements can be expensive. That was my point. And I wasn't saying anything against you or rob or the products. You sound like you may be people I would really like. I wouldn't have mentioned my finances, etc... if not for the fact I felt like I was being lectured to.
ANYWAY, if I see a marked improvement, in my situation, my next order will probably be for the ultimate mass stack, since you have a couple other products that sound interesting, and it includes them.
BTW it is a nice site. If I were to change it, I would put a link to the description page under all the order links, or have a section that opens up on the page to do that. I would also State what "kits" it is in, what it stacks well with, and show the labels. Otherwise, I kind of like the site.
Just some helpful suggestions.

Actually, I tried pink magic just before going on this. Granted, I only tried for about 2 weeks, but **I** wasn't impressed. There is some new bad press coming out about it also. bodybuildingsupplements.com now rates it at 8.4. Because ANYONE can post a review, etc... such a high mark for a bad product isn't that unlikely. But there are 100 reviews, so there are more that a few that really don't like it(several were 1). Some of them were on it far longer than I was. The hyped up reviews will be diluted, so maybe we'll see a meaningful rank in a month or two. I expect it to drop maybe down to 6. It is interesting that the cluster of new reviews are low. One is VERY telling:RobRegish wrote:Exactly right AskMass. Sorry I didn't clarify.
That comes from people I speak with over at nolinksplease.com, most of them kids. Amazingly, they don't have $35 for The Blueprint.
They all want to know my opinion of "Pink Magic" though...
It explains a lot. I BOUGHT mine!Jul 30, 2010 12:48 pm: I received one bottle of this during the Beta testing of it and I bought 2 more bottles after. The bottle from the beta worked amazingly on my cut. I gained a LOT of strength while cutting. Noticeable libido boost. Muscle hardness. The full package of claimed benefits. The two bottles I bought have done next to nothing on my bulk. I've gotten a tiny libido boost, that's all. I would NOT buy this again. I feel like I took two entirely different products.
Granted, I don't know much about the components of EBOL, but I know it is doing something. The musclemass stuff is too, though I know more about the musclemass ingredients and it looks good. So I plan to go all the way through the blueprint relatively clean.
BTW EBOL has an 8.9 rank, 21 reviews, and only 2 bad ones(lowest was 3). One claimed it gave him the runs, so he went off it, stayed on tbol trib, and he did fine.

Probably I spend too much, but I dont slack on diet/training in blueprint runs.A little in between them but not nearly as much as your typical bodybuilding bro.RobRegish wrote:I know, I get it now. It is TYPICAL for an avg customer to be spending $200 - $300 or more/month on supps.
And why?... Because most are desparately shotgunning stuff due to the fact they've plateaued.
As I've tried to say in The BP, there are no nutrients that will rectify this. Your training/diet does. THEN you add in QUALITY supps STRATEGICALLY at JUST the right time to make the difference.
I am the last guy to lecture people on money mgmt but guys (especially you younger guys.... PLEASE HEED THIS ADVICE):
1.) Invest your spare money in some sort of retirement account (ROTH IRA or 401K or ideally...BOTH!). You come here for the truth so here it is if you live in the U.S.:
NOBODY HAS YOUR BACK ANYMORE.... EXCEPT YOU
Our "leaders" sold us out in the 1980's. No more pensions guys, no more stable employment anywhere. Some day I want to play golf with you and shoot the breeze over protein drinks on the beach when we're 80. I DON"T want to hear you at age 80 saying the following to me:
"Welcome to WalMart"
2.) Invest in your HEALTH by buying X amount of quality product to use STRATEGICALLY during your BP runs.
I know and work with millionaires (insurance people who were granted stock options) who are age 50 and had two heart attacks. Many of these people have one foot in the grave and all the money in the world.
NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM CAN BUY GOOD HEALTH.
The BP Mass Stack (just one example), is $168 delivered to your door in the continental US. Used strategically the way I advocate, it'll last at least 6 weeks, likely 10 for most of you.
To reiterate: I don't care if you use MASS (although I obviously like them) or any other company's product.
Just be smart about it.... Training first, diet, rest and then supps.
God bless you all for putting up with me...
I spend about 150/month
These are all great comments and really insightful into that Pink Magic stuff..
To anyone who I've offended by lecturing on financial stuff: I sincerely apologize.
It was not meant to be so, and I know our crowd here by and large isn't of the "max out my credit card on supps and worry about it later" thing.
I pointed this out b/c I don't want you to make the same mistakes these other guys (and yes, YOURS TRULY) made in his youth.
So offender #1 is right here to take the heat. My hope is that you all are like Cookie, Seasoned and lots of others here..... still young and smart enough to be utilizing smart supplement usage to enhance your health to live into a ripe old age, where we can be sipping MassPro Amino drinks on the beach somewhere...

That's pretty much right at the level we see for most guys who are very seriously training and spending wisely, Cookie.DaCookie wrote:Probably I spend too much, but I dont slack on diet/training in blueprint runs.A little in between them but not nearly as much as your typical bodybuilding bro.

Then, we have other customers who are in an entirely different place- A lady who likes to garden and play tennis that buys a bottle each of Glucosamine and Multi-Life vitamins a month.
Or, her non athletic sister and brother in law who she told about the great vitamins that wound up buying Yohimbe Supreme and Adaptogen N on the sly every month.
Or, the news anchor who weekends as a natural physique competitor and buys a case of Thiomax - once at year, timing it for maximum savings.
On to the pro athlete who lives off of MASS PRO, going through a dozen jugs a month plus tons and tons of other goodies from us.
Point being, it's all relative to need.
But, I can tell you that our customers are a thousand times smarter with their money and worlds more serious and better educated about health and athletic performance than the crowd hitting GNC and the mega-hype online stores. That's a fact.
Frankly, I thought GNCs days were NUMBERED! They probably WERE! Anyway, they came up with their discount club, other discounts, and other products. That got them a LOT closer to where they originally said they were. I'm sure that if their markup was the same as it used to be, and they had the limited stock, they would have gone bankrupt LONG ago.
I used to live in sherman oaks near a discount vitamin place. Now THEY were inexpensive. When my father told me how much he was paying for coenzyme Q10, I told him about the place, and he could have had a heart attack right there. He got more for a LOT less.
Most of my GNC purchases were made on a discount basis and most were more recent when my access was limited.
A week ago I went to a store and without my even asking he gave me about a 20% discount. So I saved about $10 more than I thought I would. He also told me how he doesn't sell any pro-hormones, or even test boosters, to anyone under 25. I even saw him talk a guy(In his 20s) out of it, in front of the guy's father! NICE! I might go back to HIM also. I am in my 40s, and starting to show my age, but he LOVED to talk, I kind of do also, and we had a nice talk. I think we BOTH learned something!

Sounds like a great store, Steve.
Just the type of indy that might like to carry some of our stuff, in fact.
I suppose I should not paint with such a wide brush in classifying all GNC customers as the same, but there is a vast difference in the majority of them and who we attract, no two ways about it.
Years ago the local GNC manager and I were good friends from the gym and he used and sold our products to gym members and none of the store brands he was forced to carry by corporate!
I could tell you all sorts of stories about that company just from what he told me and I saw first hand... the inventory level was shockingly low in the back, for one thing, and the store lost money hand over fist. I saw a daily closing batch total of $32 on a weekday, form two total sales, and this was in a high traffic/high rent mall location.
They were routinely sent out of date products and told to keep their mouths shut. They were trained to bait and switch as a rule and to focus on the highest margin lines like Muscletech trash and so forth, which he refused to do and would tell guys "see me at the gym and I'll tell you about a real protein powder".
The vast majority of stores are big money losers, but they like having them come tax time as it offsets the few big locations that do exceptionally well.
Anyway, getting off topic, but thought I'd share a little insight.

Well, I DID say I like to talk! Yeah, GNC wanted their cake and to eat it too.
FIRST, they ALWAYS had HIGH prices for EVERYONE!
THEN they started their discount club. Apparently it went through 3 iterations.
1. The first tuesday of every month(as I recall)
2. The first 7 days of every month.
3. Like 2. but some specials.
My point is that they sacrifice most of the months sales to have more sales on the discount days. So your views may have been a bit unfair. Without looking at the whole month you couldn't determine their daily receipts.
The airline industry does the same, having specials tuesday through thursday. The CATCH is that people like me use airlines to go to work, and the key days are friday through monday. So many get lower prices, but people like me have to pay the higher prices. I guess the lower prices DO help to fill planes during the times when they are least needed.
BTW the original topic here was answered by the same person that asked it. He also made the answer public. My posts here started primarily because I saw a couple more things you sell that I would like. Prior to that, I only saw the mass mvp. So he sold himself, me, and probably others. So it isn't a loss at all!
