I prefer dumbell presses of bench press because of the balance factor.. would it be bad to swap the two in the blueprint?..

Very generally speaking ...
In Feast - unless you can really load them up and you have spotter(s), it's probably best to use bar.
In Maint - go for it

Just to quickly add that in my opinion the DBP is a vastly underrated movement.
Once you get into big weights with it, just moving into position is a wonderful balancing act and feat of strength.
