Caffeine Improves Oxandrolone Uptake
Caffeine Improves Oxandrolone Uptake
Very, very interesting...

The researchers think their experiment may show that caffeine causes a considerable improvement in the uptake of oxandrolone by the body.
"Practically this means that similar concentrations/effects may be achieved using lower dosages", they write. "Other anabolic steroids should also be investigated."
Could the same be true for certain supplements?

Fair question, as the charts are confounding...
SHORT ANSWER: Relative to oxandrolone only, adding caffeine appears to result in higher blood levels, sustained for a much greater length of time. Apparently, it also improves the bioavailability given a lot less of the metabolite is excreted in the urine (Epioxandrolone).
The researchers admit the mechanism of action is still a mystery. This is a guess, but a reasonable one IMO: Caffeine allows for 1.) More of the drug to reach the muscle cell and 2.) Bind better to the receptor.
One of the problems associated with Oxandrolone/Anavar is that it's been found to bind weakly to the androgen receptor. Either more of it is getting through and/or more of it is docking at the receptor site. Likely a combination of both...

I think youre wrong about the androgen receptor bit.As far as I know the two main/powerful fat loss AAS tren/anavar bind strongly to the androgen receptor thus the fat loss effects. Most the others fat loss seems to be an indirect result of muscle gain for the most part-higher metabolism and also theres the drying out/estrogen lowering effect.RobRegish wrote:Fair question, as the charts are confounding...

I guess what I wanted to know though is by how much is the caffeine effecting it.

Really does, 'cept NO2 type products. In that instance, I feel it's contra-indicated...beefcake66 wrote:I just read this article, from what i got from it... 300mg of caffeine significantly increased the uptake of oxandrolone in comparison to a regular steady caffeine intake. Made 0.4mg of oxandrolone useful ??
crazysauce mang.
Caffeine appears to increase the absorption of just about everything.
