Tried this out for the first time Wed. Was an epic fail, as I had no straps and was having a hard time holding onto the weight for 10 seconds. Came home and ordered straps and an extra jug of protein LOL.
Edit: Was doing static holds obv instead of what was posted here.

My bad, I should have clarified that in my post. You can do both! Alternating the two from session to session, delivers the best of BOTH worlds (and keeps you from adapting to a given stimulus).
