Famine day 2 - April 19 2011

1934 calories total (+34 from goal), 1383 calories during over eating (73%)
70g fat (33%)
38g protein (8%)
288g carbs (59%)

I have a hard time staying below 30g of protein per day. It seems like everything I put my hands on have to much of it...

Famine workout #2:

Super set of bench press/shoulder press
225 x 10, 10, 7
185 x 10

45 x 10, 7, 4
40 x 4

This super set got intense on the third so I decided to use less weight for the fourth but it was still really hard on the shoulder press. Nonetheless, it was a big improvement on all four sets from last famine workout #2.

Decline barbell bench press: 185 x 10 --> medium
Skull press: 95 x 10 --> easy
Laying dumbbells triceps extension: 45 x 10 --> medium
Cable pressdown: 135 x 10 --> limit

Again, improvement from last famine workout #2: happy!

Total workout time: 34 minutes --> should have been shorter but gym was crowded.
Body weight after WO: 237.5 (-1.5 from beginning)

Famine day 3 - April 20 2011

Had trouble sleeping again but I feel good today anyway. Maybe I just need 7 hours of sleep now?

Rest heart rate: 65 bpm (+5 already)

It's snowing here right now :x I thought it was over...

Here in Texas, on Tuesday the high was 92 F and today the high was suppose to be 70 F, but felt more like high 60's. I just love it when you can have spring, summer and fall all in one week. :lol:

You are mean! Keep in mind that I am on famine right now = shorter fuse! It snows during the night too... Sometimes I wish I could be in Texas but I probably won't be able to survive during the hot summer days.

Famine day 3 - April 20 2011

1662 calories (238 calories under goal), 1195 during over eating (72%)

24g fat (13%)
32g protein (7%)
342 g carbs (80%)

No training. Hunger has been in check. No weight in.

Famine day 4 - April 21 2011

Rest heart rate: 63 bpm (+3 since last week, -2 compare to yesterday)

Cardio after work, Famine training #3 tomorrow. Or might be the opposite... Not sure yet. Any inputs?

A buddy of mine is from Canada, we went to college together, he played baseball for the school (Dallas Baptist University) he was a pretty good pitcher. He loved it down here, said that it reminded him of home, so if the heat was bareable for him then you could do it as well, except for the pregnant girlfriend, I don't suggest having a pregnant significant other in this texas heat and humidity. My son is now 15 months old, and I still have nightmares from my pregnant wife in this heat (grouchy!!!)

Famine day 4 - April 21 2011

1991 calories (1520 during over eating, 76%) + 91 from goal

94g fat (38%)
46g protein (8%) ouppss too much :(
292g carbs (53%)

I was feeling sluggish and mad before working out. Desperately needed protein...

3rd famine workout:

Squat super set with one arm dumbbell row:
135 x 15, 15, 15, 15, 15
40 x 15, 15, 15, 15, 15 --> could have use more weight on both...

seated cable row super set with behind head pull down:
120 x 15, 15, 12, 9, 7
90 x 15, 15, 11, 8, 8 --> got really hard, biceps were pumped!

Barbell curl: 45 x 15 --> ok
Incline dumbbell curl: 25 x 14 --> hard
Preacher curl: 50 x 8 --> super hard!!!
High pulley cable curl: 90 x 8 --> outch!!
Concentration curl: 15 x 14 --> ... weak?...

Total workout time: 36 minutes (someone says sprint?)
Bodyweight after workout: 236 (-3 since beginning)

I was shaking after this workout. Went home and had 4 huge potatoes with lots of veges and fruit juice. Felt really better after that but busted my protein...

Famine day 5 - April 22 2011

Rest heart rate this morning: 73 bpm (+13) !!!!!!!!!!
Feel good still. I will perform some cardio after work and then I will begin feast! maybe early but I so damn need proteins right now. I dreamed I had ham, woke up with the mouth full of saliva... My brain is giving me strong signals so I will listen. This Asian restaurant won't believe what they will see tonight, starting at 7:30pm downtown Sorel, Quebec :P

Rob: it's a XL blueprint t-shirt, a little bit tight on the arms but fits great everywhere else. I shouldn't need a XXL nor a XXXL after this cut ;)

I used the sequoia fitness tonus body mass calculator with the orbitape on Friday before starting feast. Those will be starting point for this cut:

18.9% body fat
190 lbs of lean mass

I did not count calories this week end. I don't think I over feast but it was not super clean on Sunday: Easter lunch with family in law and Easter dinner with my family... No training Saturday-Sunday. Started supplementing with Kre-Anabolyn, Adaptagen-N, Test freak, Alkaplex green+, Warrior Whey, Thyrolyn, Yohimbe supreme and the formula on Monday.

Feast day 3 - April 25 2011

2662 calories (2400 during overeating phase, 90%) Way under my 3360 goal but I felt satisfied.
62g fat (21%)
150g protein (23%)
376g carbs (56%)

Woke up at 9am after a very good 11 hours of deep sleep, thanks to Adaptogen N and test freak! Had some yogourt and work outside preparing the garden and lawn for summer time. Then I had a grapefruit, nap for 30 minutes and then went weight training. Almost on an empty stomach, just the 1/3 of the formula before but workout was great! Felt strong, good endurance.

Decline barbell press static hold:
315 x 15 seconds --> easy
335 x 15 seconds --> limit

EDT #1: flat dumbbells bench/one arm row (both with 114 lbs dumbbell)
6,6,6,6,6
6,6,6,6,6 --> 72 reps in 20:50, could have use 120 lbs

Seated shoulder barbell press static hold:
185 x 15 seconds --> easy
225 x 13 seconds --> hard

EDT #2: Dumbbells curl/lying triceps extensions (both with 53 lbs dumbbell)
6,6,6,5,4,4
6,6,6,6,6,6 --> triceps where stronger than biceps, I will readjust that for next workout

Total workout time including warm ups: 65 minutes
Body weight after workout: 241 lbs (+2 from beginning, +6.5 from end of famine already!)

Feast day 4 - April 26 2011

After work I will go biking outside if it ain't raining or at the gym if it is. I will sip on USP labs modern BCAA through the cardio workout (3 servings for an hour or so) I will also use GABA and yohimbe supreme before.

Diet will be a low carb high fat today. In line with the warrior diet, I will have yogourt, carrots, blueberries and whey protein from 6am to 6pm today; so basically I will do cardio on empty stomach. Main meal will be 2 huge fish filet with almonds, full veggies with olive oil and a lettuce/veges salad as a starter. Can't hardly wait for tonight dinner... :roll:

Haven't really feel yohimbe supreme yet. I took 5 drops under tongue Monday and again yesterday 15 minutes before hitting the gym. I do sweat a lot but that's not really a new thing. I will keep you informed...

Feast day 4 - April 26 2011

Only 1877 calories but I was satisfied after dinner. 1378 during overeating (73%)
(I am doing a low carbs high fat during cardio days and high carbs low fat during weight lifting day.)

89g fat (43%)
147g protein (31%)
122g carbs (26%)

I did cardio at the gym because of the rain:

10 minutes spinning bike (low to medium intensity)
30 minutes elliptic (medium to high intensity)
15 minutes spinning bike (high to medium intensity+5 minutes cool down)

According to my pulse watch, I burned 860 calories in 62 minutes (changing equipment...)
Weight after workout: 239 (back to pre-famine weight)

Feast day 5 - April 27 2011

No training. Dinner will be pay by my professional order so I don't know exactly yet what my macros will look like... Hopefully this engineer meeting will finish soon enough so I can watch Montreal-Boston game #7. GO HABS GO!
