Damn, and here I thought I was being clever.RobRegish wrote:Likin' the horse analogy.
Heard it before...
Today was day 2 of famine and famine workout #2. My false BP start a couple weeks ago before I got sick was actually beneficial, in that I knew what weights NOT to use during workout #2, LOL. I went lighter on these and still felt it for sure, but I was actually able to squeeze out (most of) the reps required. Nice. Workout 2 sure does burn like a bitch, though.
SUPERSET: Dumbbell Incline Bench Press & Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press
Dumbbell Incline Bench Press 25x10x4
Dumbbell Shoulder Press 10x10x3, 10x5x1 couldn't do ANY more on this last set
1 min rest between each superset
Barbell Lying Triceps Extension 35x10; 1 min rest
Cable Triceps Pushdown 50x8; 1 min rest
Dumbbell Standing Triceps Extension 30x10 - might've been able to use a 35 on this :p
Workout #3 won't be until Friday, because I have the next 2 days off. I'm sure I'll want to kill something with my bare hands and eat it by then.
Haven't eaten dinner yet so I don't know what my calories will end up being, but I'll manage to stay below 1050.

Diet update for yesterday: ended up with 1057 calories: 176g carbs, 29g fat, 26g protein. Macros were 66c/24f/10p.
Today is day 3 of famine. No workout today because I'm on vacation from work for 2 days, so no gym.
However, I did get in my first bike ride of the season.
MapMyRIDE Workout(Bike Ride:Road Cycling) : Distance 8.66 mi, Duration 57:19, Pace 6:30, Speed 9.2 mi/h- #MapMyRIDE: 03/30/2011 - Using Route - iMapMyRIDE+: Mar 30, 2011 04:20 PM
Word.
It really wasn't too bad considering it was the first ride of the season, I'm on famine, and it was cold out. I feel like I would've performed the same had I not been on famine. Damn you famine, start working! Gotta pee on the stix to see if anything is happening :p
EDIT: whizzed on the stick, everything's still normal. :grumble grumble:

Jeez, I can't buy a new bikini every time I take pics, I'll go broke!RobRegish wrote:New bikini and a set of 6" pumps says otherwise...allieninja wrote:They would look shockingly similar to the ones posted up 2 days agoRobRegish wrote:Diet updates, macros, diagnostic sticks, workout crap blah, blah, blah...
Can we get some new pics, please?
Also, if I wear 6" pumps, set my camera on a 10 second timer, and then walk over to the spot where the pic will happen, all you'll have is a blurry photo of me falling down and cracking my head on the tub

Diet update from yesterday: 1068 calories: 206g carbs, 13g fat, 32g protein. Eating under 30g of protein is harder than it sounds.
Macros: 77c/11f/12p
Just weighed myself and I'm at 130. That's 1.6lbs down since the beginning of famine. Shame it will all come back once feast hits :/
Rest day today - gym's at work and I'm not, and it's too crappy and cold out to go for a bike ride. Famine workout #3 tomorrow morning, and then Saturday is FEAST.

Lookin good Allie!
And I don't know whats wrong with you; I like it when I gain back 10lbs immediately after famine hahaha :p It's alllll going to my musclez!
"Jeez, I can't buy a new bikini every time I take pics, I'll go broke...!"
A. Consider your money issues over. 3Faces of Fear(tm) just stepped up to the plate. They're pickin' up the tab...

A. 3Faces of Fear(tm) have this one covered too. They're either buying new pumps, camera's, timers and whatever else is necessary to get the objective/feeback necessary to "help" you get the absolute best results possible!!
Great guys... and all of this for a meager, one time $35 investment! What more could you possibly ask for?

HOPEFULLY it's goin to the muscles. I wouldn't put it past my body to be all "f u, stop doing this famine sh!t to me." and put it all back on as fatbeefcake66 wrote: Lookin good Allie!
