Cruise 2/9/11

Bench 185X5, 205X5, 205X5, 205X5, 205X4

Shoulder press
65lb Dumbbell 5 reps X 5 sets

Feels good to do something different. Woke up with a sore chest. Its been about 6 weeks since I have done the bench press and I am feeling it. No strength loss and possible strength gain from all the dips I did instead.

A difficult yet necessary exercise in de-tox/cleansing..

I hope you'll come to appreciate it in time. Many of the elderly die not from disease IMO but rather, via malnutrition/starvation.

The result of many, many years of uninterrupted food "dosing". Too many...

Lol. Well I try to look at it as a positive because I tend to enjoy food so much more again once I start feast.

Yeah I like the way my body feels after famine. This will be my third one and it won't be easier, but this routine has found its place in my lifestyle and I appreciate it.

Cruise 2/21/11

Squat 225 X 5 reps X 5 sets

Bent over row 65 X 10X 3

Static leg press 14 plates 20 secs

Tricep push downs

Bicep curls

I am finished with this run. My body is telling me to take a break and I am going to give it one.

Interesting to note that after about 8 weeks of feast and famine it is more difficult to be motivated to go into the gym, my appetite has gone down and I feel like I am fighting some illness. I have also noticed it is beginning to get easier to put on fat too. Rob is spot on in the BP that this is the time to regroup. There is no sense in trying for more gains during this run. Diminishing returns will apply I am sure of it.

I am taking a week off and then back into famine and I should be ready to go again.

My next log will be the first 2 patterns of the BP periodic and I may run the whole thing if my body is up to it.

Good man.

This is part of what BP teaches... how to listen to your body.

Quite unlike many people you'll meet on life's journey, it won't lie to you....

One of my favorite things about the BP is giving your body a rest and knowing its for a purpose. Minimize injury, sickness and increase your gains once you do start back up again.

I am taking my week off and going to regroup and start a new journal very soon. :)
