ck 76 second run

Post by ckeahey76 »

Well I have taken a couple of weeks off from being in the hospital and finishing up my first run. I was able to max at 315 on bench and 380 on legs. I have started famine for the second time and I think it is hitting me harder the second time around than on the first time.

My resting heart rate has gone from 68 to 76 in 3 days and I have dropped 5 pounds. I am 198 as of this morning. Will do chest/shoulders/tris today and start getting prepared for fridays workout.

I might forgo fridays workout and just rest and prepare to eat on saturday.

Yesterday did chest/shoulders/tri's and I feel it. I feel energized from all of the organic fruits and vegetables, but I feel a little weak. I am very hungry, I saw a squirrel runnig across the street and was wondering if I hit it with my car, and roasted it over an open fire, how many calories would that be and how many grams of protein would that be, man I need some meat. I can't wait til saturday and the beginning of feast.

Alright, it is the last day of famine and I am excited about tomorrow. I am hungry but I know that I can wait til tomorrow.

For breakfast had a medium sized apple and an orange. around 10 had a bananna and some pistachios, for lunch had a salad and a bowl of vegetarian soup. for dinner had a salad and some kiwi. Not much dairy, and no milk (lactose intolerant).

Resting heart rate was 80 this morning, so no workout today. From 68 to 80 wow. alright now I focus on feast and getting a plan ready to take on the russian format.

Just ordered some supps. Ordered 1 bottle of adaptogen N, 2 bottles of Kre-anabolyn, and 1 Blueprint T-shirt ( I hear wearing the shirt makes you really strong).

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I am 2 days into the Russian and I have to say that I am slightly sore, but feeling good. I have started the adaptogen N and the kre-anabolyn, both are good but the best by far is my new blueprint t shirt. I have been wearing it around Irving texas and people have said that I look bigger and stronger, I reply its just the shirt. I was telling another guy about it back in January and he was excited, so excited he went and won the super bowl the next day, good job Aaron. (J/K)... I did have to work traffic for the super bowl though, the packers were staying just down the street from my condo. I found it odd that the players were staying in one hotel, their families in another, and their mistresses in another. weird (j/k).

I digress... back to the workouts, and eating... I have been trying to keep the calories at the most 2700 and the least 1700, doing a good job so far, but sometimes I forget to factor in the formula, how many calories was that? Workout have been intense, but awesome. I push through them like I was 18 again, go adaptogens. My weight from famine went down to 196 from 205, then went up from the first few days of feast to 208 and now back down to 204.

Will try to do a better job keeping updated. ( This is mostly for me, I want to keep a record for my benefit so that I can keep myself motivated as to how well I am doing, yay me!!!)

quick update

Post by ckeahey76 »

Forgot to add my new maxes. When I finished glp #2 I was able to do 315 lbs, but I went into the hospital the next day and did not lift for 3 weeks after that, forgoe cruise and forgoing all of my new prs. To cut to the chase, I was only able to max out at 285 lbs for this Russian, but I will not give up, I will not quit, I will keep going until I can lift over 300lbs on a regular basis. When I do my fitness test for work this september I want to do over 300 lbs adding 30+ lbs to my max from last year, while dropping my bw. And you better believe, you better know, you can count on it that I will be wearing my Blueprint T shirt on test day. CAN YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!!!

My 13 month old son has started to wake up at 3 am for the past three days, I tried to explain to him that daddy has to work but he just doesn't understand. Been a heck of a week with the start of the russian and only getting 5 maybe 6 hours of sleep a night. But no DOMS. Looking forward to workout #2 here in about 30 minutes. Yeah me!!!! :P

Guess I will post my workout from last night:

Barbell bench press 6 sets of 3 @ 225 lbs / supersetted with barbell pullovers at 85 lbs ( 6 sets of 8).

next two workout did in EDT fashion:

Incline bench @ 175 lbs / bentover rows @ 85 lbs
(6 sets of 6 on each of these)
pushdowns / machine hammer curls
(6 sets of 6 @ 70 lbs)

followed up with high pulley machine crunches 2 sets of 20 ending with 2 sets of cable crunch static holds of 15 seconds.

Feel much stronger than I did when I first started, guess my muscle memory is returning, that or Adaptogen n / kre-anabolyn stack is kicking in.

Tonight LEGS!!!!!!

Alright, I have not had the chance to post in a while, but I have to say...I am sore, but feeling good. Just finished the 6 sets of 4 in the Russian, did 225 on chest, 265 on legs, and 200 on dead lifts. Can't wait for the cruise phase.

This is terrific!

And yes, The Blueprint "Electric Blue" Tshirt adds 10% to all lifts, makes you appear MUCH larger/stronger than you are and the best part?

Makes you a chic magnet.

Ask Hank about that... :)

Well, I took a week off of the BP, but not working out. I went to Vegas for a wedding in which I was to be the best man. Had a good time, didn't really gamble, lets see I won 15 dollars and wifey lost 25 dollars. Not bad. She has family in the area so we stayed with them and had a blast for 6 days and 6 nights. Did a few workouts on their workout machine but nothing to taxing as a bp workout. I have to admit I did sport the BP t-shirt while walking down the street and had quite a few looks, wifey not happy. The electric blue will rock you. Off to do legs, but quick question before, has their been a date set on the release of 3.0?

I wasn't sure so I asked "Mixelflick". Here's what he said... "3.0 should be available prior to April 31st..."

Then he just hung up the phone.. :) :) :)

Now on the shirt, no question about it; Adds 10% to all lifts and makes you a chic magnet. See Buffer's photo here:

I've got Allie on the way to finally, finally explain to us how the female mind works. It appears the Blueprint Tshirt has solved that mystery, although quite how it does so is still in question... :)
