Yep, have always had that mentality since wrestling. "Everyone makes mistakes. What's important is how quick you recover from those mistakes."

I really pushed it on SLDL and hack squats. My lower back is a bit achy, hopefully goes away soon. Also, someone was using the inclines so I used the smith machine for inclines.

Benchpress: 230x3 (3rd rep with help)
DB Pullover: 85x6

Incline BB Press: 185x5x5x5x5x5x5 (30)
Cable Rows: 125x6, 90x6, 135x6x6x6x6 (36)

Squat: 275x1, 255x2
Dimel DL: 135x6

Hack Squat: 135x6x6x6x6x6 (30)
SLDL: 210x6x6x6x6x6 (30)

Bench Press Static Hold: 275x10 seconds, 285x 10 seconds (PR)

I felt like I could go a lot heavier on static holds as well, which is weird. Is there a muscle fiber that comes back faster than another? I don't understand how my reps are lower than my last run, but static holds are dwarfing my last run's. Anyway, squat form felt nice on the lower weights, which was nice to get the feel back. I hit 275x2 last run, so thought I may try it again and only felt comfortable with 1 rep and dropped weight down. I'm still not getting that BP feel though, you know, the one where you feel like you're on top of the world? Not too sure if it's because I'm not moving more weight than I was prior or what, but just not there yet.

I feel like that's enough rambling for now.

Great job on the PR!!

Your getting closer. Very close in fact. You're refining. It does take a few runs for most. A lucky few nail it out of the gate but it's all good man. PR's are PR's and learning is learning.

You'll be THAT much better your next run :)

Last run I got it right out of the gate as well. I probably should've gotten into the groove of things before doing the BP.

Had stuff come up and ended up not getting into the gym yesterday. The gym here closes at 2 on Sat/Sun so we'll play it by ear if I can make it in tomorrow.

Btw Rob, the goodies you sent me arrived today. Thanks again, it really means a lot. Any suggestions on when/how to take it?

Yes for sure and so happy the care package arrived!!

Please PM me what I sent you.

Rob/Mix has sent so many people (real names/screen names) so much stuff - he doesn't know who he is, you are - what he sent to you or even who you might be.

He does know this though: He's having the time of his life helping others. If they put me in the ground tomorrow guys, I've lived a charmed life... :)
