Gauvreau.J - Round 1!

Post by gauvreau.j »

HELLO BLUEPRINT!

I am an active 18 yo male from canadaland! I've played soccer since age 5 and developed my current height of 6'1" at an early age and so never had real incentive or need to try a work out program because i could out power most of the other guys with my size. This is not to say that i have no experience (3 years of light lifting in highschool) but that I was never as inclined to try to gain mass as my friends were.

Obviously things have changed a bit since then as now i'm only slightly taller than my friends and opponents, who now also regularly out-weigh me.

I started at a slim 152lbs and as I write I have just finished my second workout of the feast phase. I dropped down to 147lbs during famine and now back (with a little extra) at 155.

I had been pressed for time and only now had a opportunity to start my log so ill have to bring all of you up to date!

Famine : I watched what i ate on very tight scale and got about 1200cal a day, mostly a lot of toast, jams, V8 and regular vegetables. As i said before i dropped about 5 pounds in this time. Overall i came out pretty damn hungry but it was not as hard as i had expected. I also managed to keep my protein below 30g, sometimes as little as 7g on the second last day.

FEAST: Now on day 7 I am trying to eat as much and as often as possible, mostly home made meals that my mom prepares. My dad suffered a heart attack in the spring so our diet at home is probably above average for the quality of foods that are prepared. Other than those meals I am supplementing with whey shakes for about 750 - 1000 extra calories a day. This is my first run through the BP so i have opted out of any adaptegens fot eh time being. If i find success with the program (which is already starting to show) i plan on using supplements for my second round.

I'm looking forward to whatever gain i can make and will keep you posted on further progress!

Love Canada. Clean, pleasant place.

You've done a great job keeping the riff-raff out too :)
