Good point man. Taking Famine too deep delays traction.

Everyone take note!

Good thoughts. I'm actually surprised with how easy this famine has been going, but I'll do my best not to restrict my food too much.

It's day 5. I did workout #3 at the work gym on my lunch break. I usually don't like to workout here, but since I knew I wouln't be cabable of a lot of intensity anyway the gym here did just fine.

Although it has been going pretty smoothly, I am pretty excited to eat. I'm looking around for an eggnog protein shake recipe to kick things off.

Just eat feels like a bit of a reward!

I wound up dropping about 9 pounds during famine, but I suppose I have to put an asterisk beside that... As I mentioned I did a two week cut, took two days off then did two days of famine before realizing I needed more time off.

Well during those 5 days I took off I experienced the rebound effect from all my time being in a caloric deficit, so that's probably why my weight loss was so high this time around.

Anyway, I'm also beginning Kre-anabolyn and the hourly liver tabs. Man they smell great :?

I still haven't got my adaptagen N yet, so I'm not really sure what I'll do for a test booster in the mean time... suggestions are welcome... I have some NOW ZMA, trib and some dhea I could use while I'm waiting, or I have some left over T bol as well as negenix supremacy.

I'd consider using the tbol trib until such time as the Adaptogen N arrives. The DHEA in the absence of Eurycoma/Longifolia and legit bulgarian Trib would concern me. Too much potential to convert to estrogen when going the oral route.

Otherwise, great going and looking so forward to this!

Today was workout #1 of feast. It was upper body work today and being my first day back at it I probably used a little bit less weight than I was capable of, but that will get corrected by the next upper body day.

It was also my first experience with the pre-intra-post drink. I hope it worked, because it tasted some awful. Actually I split up the protein and carb drinks and mixed the leucine 50/50. The protein was ON hydro whey, which was fine, and the carb drink was karbo-lyn, which was kinda gross.

One thing I'll say though, the last intra-WO drink I tried was whey mixed with dextrose and creatine. Every time I used that I wound up getting extreme nausea, so I was a little nervous about trying this, but there was no nausea whatsoever.

I was also surprised by the amount of weight I could use for the static holds.

Crystal lite...

AskMass probably has a better flavoring solution. MassPro berries n' cream kicks ass guys so if you haven't tried that... do consider it. I wish he'd give up those flavoring secrets :)

Today I did 20 minutes of early morning HIIT. It took more time to get to the gym than to do the workout because of a snow storm.

Today has been awful. I caught some kind of bug that had me up all night, woke up with aching shoulders, got the kiddies to school late, left my debit card at a store on the far side of the city, ran out of wiper fluid on the freeway just to find that everywhere in town was sold out (not that I could've bought it anyway with my debit card missing) poked my eye and lost a contact lens while in a department store, then trying to get some sympathy or a rub or something nice from my wife I get snarky comments because the kids missed ten minutes of school, following which she ditched me to take care of the kids in my condition.

Hopefully an early bedtime will get me over this because I'm supposed to work my legs tomorrow.
