Dl workout #2

150x10
185x8
200x6
220x6
235x5
255x3

pretty good workout overall... I could've gotten the last 3 reps but my grip was slipping bad.. even with alternating grip.. GRR.

perhaps its time to invest in some straps.

Yeah you definately want to ensure you're getting reps even if it's at the expense of a little grip strength. Damn. Do what you can but get those reps!

Chalk, wraps whatever it takes. It's absolutely critical to get the required total tonnage. See attached chart:

https://bodybuildingsupplements.com/ ... dSheet.pdf

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure next time you walk in there.... quality set of wraps in hand! Otherwise, GREAT going!!

DL workout #3

150x10
200x8
220x6
235x4
255x4
270x4

Hit all the reps and sets.. had to change my grip up a little bit but I did go to dunhams and get a set of lifting straps. So grip Strength will no longer limit my Deadlifting potential.. I think I will still try and save the straps for the last few sets tho.. :)

Very nice work!

And good move on the straps. OK to add anytime (you're not competing, right?) so add them at your leisure.

Sounds like everything is on track here. Couldn't be happier for you!!

If it's a question of a day (or even 2 or 3), by all means take it off. The rest may well be of benefit!!

I see. Well, manage to the best of your ability. But no, I don't think you'll lose anything...
