Haiz's First Blueprint Run - Come Check out the Fun

Post by haiz69 »

Hey Guys/gals. This won't be overly fancy, but I will give a fair an objective try to this program, as I think rob is stand up guy and I like what he has put together here.

So, today is friday and I am just finishing up with famine. I got done my last workout around 10 PM tonight, so I just ate a big meal and called it the beginning of my feast :)

Now that famine is over, I can say that it wasn't really bad at all for me. I took the warrior diet approach. Fasted nearly all day, had some fruit pre-wo, then one LARGE meal with veggies/oils/nuts/fruit post-workout and went to bed a couple of hours later.

Other than Tuesday, I felt great during the whole thing.

The training was not easy at ALL. Felt good the first day from being carbed up entering the phase, but wednesday and today were weak. Also added 30 minutes of Low-Intensity cardio each day to the mix to really get my body working. It has been a long time since I was as sore as I was all week (so little protein), which seems to be a good sign for the start of this.

Will wake up tomorrow and commence feasting for 3 days. Then I'll be back to really tear things up. I have Activate Xtreme (DS Rep), Lean Xtreme, and E-bol (2 Bottles) on hand for the run.

Starting out a around 175 (down about 7 pounds from day 1), 9% BF. Not sure what bench/squat/deadlift maxes are right now, but I know that they NEED to be increased.

Wish me luck!

GREAT work making it through!

Now, eat up BIG and prepare: PR clouds will be forming soon :)

Looking forward to it. BTW Rob, how do you feel about the warrior diet insofar as using it during phases other than famine? I used it during famine and felt great...especially considering the calories.

I won't be doing it on this run or the next, but sometime in the future I was planning on it.

You know it think it works for Feast too. I don't have large scale #'s but Lovehasrisen did so QUITE successfully.

The one observation I have surrounding such is this: if you are a meso or endomorph (or more likely a mix of both) you're more likely to pull it off. Someone like me with natural ectomorph like tendancies... not so much. I reserve it for Famine and do quite well with it there.

Either way, I like your approach. Outside the box :)
