OK, I haven't updated in a while but I've been keeping up the workouts. The last day of German loading pattern #2 was not the most successful for me. I attempted a 1RM of 295 bench and failed twice despite hitting every single rep of the loading pattern. I blame this on the excess socializing/homewo...

IMO it might just be the initial shock of a new "routine". I would give it time to see how it plays out. I guess I'll see if this keeps up if I lose any strength. if you lost 4 lbs in a week its definitely water weight it would take a huge calorie deficit and some sort of voodoo to drop 4...

Went down in weight, what's going on?

The past few week and a half I've added HIIT and yoga as active recovery exercises in between my lifting days. For the HIIT I'm limited to my treadmill's top speed of 6 min/mile so I usually run 2 min at a slow speed and then run 1 min at the top speed. I warm up beforehand walking about 10 min. Aft...

Compared with others I dont think so.Good? No but not utter shite either. I'm always hesitant to slam other products, but sometimes I just can't remain silent. Take Animal Pack as an example. Total joke product made of the absolute cheapest ingredients known to man, which are heated up and baked wit...

I use Super Cissus and my multi (Orange Triad) has joint support (glucosamine)...definitely notice much less tendonitis since I've taken these two regularly for the past year or so. In fact I almost have no tendonitis whatsoever anymore when I used to get it regularly on days where I go heavy on ben...

LOL, thanks for the insight beefcake. I haven't really started to look into pricing for bumper plates and had no idea they were so pricey. I have contemplated joining the university weight room but at $90 a semester it's pretty steep in price! Not to mention I heard after 3PM it's hard to get in the...

I believe the mantra is to "listen to your body". If you're too sore then simply don't, it may do more damage than help. Try active recovery exercises if you haven't already, it will help decrease soreness, also adding BCAA's and glutamine will help reduce soreness.

What you can't workout outside in the winter in Wisconsin? Come on I use to live there, they weren't that bad...oh, wait yea they were. As for the equipment, I have a basic power rack where I can do squats, but its also a combo smith machine. If you have a home gym I'd be interested in knowing what kind of equipment you have and why you chose it. I'm thinking about expanding a few things, particularly getting more plates since the blueprint has been working so well for me I need more plates! Right now I have a home gym that consists of: ...

As someone of Southeast Asian descent Srirachia sauce is a staple condiment at my place! Hank, if you're interested in a super spicy/salty dipping sauce for meats I have my own recipe that I love to use and I'd be happy to share it with you. I use it for dipping sausages/beef jerky...and then I put ...

Some have asked why we don't stock the Karbolyn. Just so you know- We have a license in place and have been running trials of different custom blends dating back almost a year. We want to get it spot-on right, and deliver our mantra of 'real results' at an honest price. Speaking of which, word to t...
