Famine workout days
I was planning to start my famine tomorrow but because of my gym's hours and my work schedule Friday and Saturday are off days for me. So I just wanted to know if it is OK to workout Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday doing cardio on Wednesday and Sunday? Or would I be better off waiting til Sunday and ...

Best Joint Supplement is one you can make easily
I started having some issues with my knees due to heavy squats/leg presses/leg extensions and needed to look into something to help joint pain. I was shocked to see how expensive supplements were for joints. Luckily my parents are both health freaks(they literally could open their own vitamin/herb s...

Famine to Feast Timeframe
I just had a quick question regarding the time frame from famine to feast. I read where you are supposed to be at least 8 BPM higher and that would likely occur after 5 days or so. What happens if this occurs in a shorter/longer time frame? Do I continue with famine for say 7 or 8 days? Or what if i...

START FAMINE Day 1 of Famine: RHR 78 One of the benefits of IF is that I'm already used to not eating half of the day, this helps me in famine and I only half to tough it out for a few hours. This is going to be my best famine yet, I can feel it. How many seconds do you guys use when taking your RH...

I remember seeing a study basically about a bodybuilder who ate 12 eggs a day and his cholesterol levels didnt go up. Eggs have are high in cholesterol, but they also are high in lecithin which binds to cholesterol and flushes it out of the system, which would likely result in a net gain near zero,...

Might want to look into something like Fatgripz, which help relieve pressure and stress on your joints...also apparently works very well to help force muscles to do more of the work versus the joints...

-I quite obviously meant bye bye insulin sensitivity That can be overcome quite a bit by adding 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon(actually cassia) twice a day... In fact many diabetics could lessen or stop using insulin by utilizing this instead...and it was found out by mistake. Researchers were looking at...

In response to your insulin comment, insulin + bulk = good? Yes, I believe insulin is very anabolic. Insulin is the most anabolic hormone there is...in fact it is 4 times as anabolic as testosterone. Only issue with insulin is it is anabolic in an indiscriminate way...it will add both fat and muscl...

Brown Rice on famine?
Just was wondering if Brown Rice is OK for famine? I am around 210 lbs so I should be taking in 1680 calories according to the template. BR is a good source of carbs, but has little protein(1 gram I believe), so figured this would be OK for famine or is it too complex of a carb and I would be better...
