Question about Synthagen......am I missing out on the full benefits of Synthagen if I am not taking in any pre or intra training carbs? Depends on your somatype and goals brother. If you're after maximum muscle and an ecto, then yes you're giving something up. From a recovery perspective though, it...

So you think it's ok to have my depletion workout on a Sunday morning followed by an all day carb up and then begin lifting heavy again on Tuesday? A. Yes, as soon as reasonably possible - lift heavy after the carb up. If so, what would you recommend I do Monday training wise? A. You need The BP Me...

New info on HIIT, more power/VO2 max..

REAL interesting findings here. Shorter sprint periods vs longer generated a lot better VO2 max/power in these athletes, vs. longer ones. These were trained cyclists too, so take that for what it's worth. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24382021 Any cyclists have input? I know John does those ce...

Re: Training to failure: Is it necessary?

Nope, not according to this study/excellent analysis provided by Adel Musa: https://suppversity.blogspot.com/search/label/performance We have proven this in BP from day 1, via use of loading patterns and EDT combos. Training to failure does have its time/place, but is used only for 5 workouts in 2....

I take 2/day, every day M-F. I can't count the number of e-mails I get from guys that say I sound happier. Even now, when I've been away from the gym for 6 weeks!

Effective Immediately: THE BP COLLECTIVE IS A PAY SITE

Hate to do this but the upkeep, % of server time used and other factors now justify a cost to use this site. In the coming days, you'll find a PayPal button in the upper right corner of your screen shortly after logging in. If you choose not to pay, you won't be able to use the site. We're asking a ...

Another Ecdy study: This time Turkesterone

Kind of a bummer when you read the whole study. To get the positive effects (myostatin inhibition, muscle strengthening etc), you'd need a whole lot. How much? A 176lb lifter would need 8g/day, and that'd be expensive!! I've always maintained Turk is excellent for VO2 max, as it's exceptional at bui...

Amazing discussion here. Can be gross at times (parasites), but they're there, they're real and if you have them - you can do something about it.

This thread proves it..

Every week that ticks by, you'll see the changes LJ.

Glad you like it so far. In 6 weeks, you may not recognize that guy staring back at you, in the mirror!

Unadulterated Ant Extract

Just got a big ole' bag of it, no kidding. It has come to this, LOL. Here are the claims: "Ants are nutritious beyond belief. They contain high levels of vitamins B1, B2, B12, D and E. Also, 67% of the dry weight of Polyrhachis Vicina is protein and provides 8 essential amino acids. Mineral con...
