Any suggestions on exercises to add?BrainSquirt wrote:Yes and I can relate to where you're at. Run the added stuff like it's a hobby, not even a part time job, and certainly not a second full time job... One thing to make sure of: calibrate rest correctly
(btw, I usually do it late fall and winter)

Adding to 3.0 Feast
I'm starting workout #1. My question is what the effect is of adding extra exercises on the EDT template? I don't feel that one exercise per muscle group is going to even do a dent for me. Can I add 2 more EDT blocks? Maybe a second tricep/bicep & chest/back?

Famine training
Is time of day important for when you train here? Also, is cardio recommended?

What do you eat during famine?
What keeps you full? I was thinking doing a lot of fruit smoothies but I'm not sure if that is too much sugar/carbs. Bread generally keeps me full.

after my final set of GLP its not unusual for me to take a 10 min break, shaking it off / resting before i start my EDT block. missing reps is fine on the EDT block (thats how your supposed to progress) you 100% sure your GLP weights are correct? Well they aren't exact because the math called for t...

Soreness in arms?
On GLP#2 and chest and back have felt it hard both day after and DOMs 2 days after. Triceps are a hair sore and biceps don't ever feel anything. I'm doing cable curls/pressdowns as an EDT block and am seeing increases. Why no soreness? Should I worry?

I think if you're missing by 3 reps, first re-evaluate why. It may be one of the following: 1.) You didn't rest long enough between sets 2.) You didn't fully recover from the last workout 3.) Some combination of the above Having said that, any of those come to mind? Normally, I'd say yes, but not i...

How do you do on GLP?
When you do your GLP, can you generally finish everything? On my last set of BP #2 GLP today, I was only able to get 3 instead of 6. Do I lower the weight to get 6 reps (meaning stop at 3 where I get complete muscle failure and then get up, lower weight a little, do 3 more)? Or should I just stop? W...

I generally add some more water at the gym so I can hydrate more and I finish directly after my workout...
