I'm guessing you're in week 3 of your feast and you've been taking only KA @ 3/day so far? It seems like you're trying to be economical with your supplement usage, so I'll give you a couple of options that I think make sense: 1. Get another bottle of KA and a bottle of MPS and do 2 KA and 9 MPS per...

Feast Supps: Kre-Anabolyn 1st half + Synthagen 2nd half??

One bottle of Kre-Anabolyn (60 caps), lasts only 20 days at the smallest recommended dosage. This is about half the duration of the feast phase. Has anyone tried using Kre-Anabolyn for the first half of feast, then chasing it with Synthagen for the second half? Or is it advised to just stick with on...

WOW. That is scary. Especially since you were only taking 10-12 a day. Thanks for sharing your story, I'm glad you were able to find the problem and fix it. I'm nearing the end of the ten days, and have went as high as 40 uni-liver tabs. Now I'm glad I wasn't as dedicated the last few days and slowe...

Technique to aid in intra-workout recovery

Found an interesting article from t-nation, https://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/big_gains_with_active_recovery The technique is called a "diverting exercise", and is reported to use the time between sets to aid in recovery (intra-workout). Basicall...

Final day of week 1 of feast Weight is pretty much back to normal. Strength and muscle fullness are just a little behind, but are catching up very quickly. Nutrition averages Calories: 4425 (more on the first 3 days) Protein: 310 Uni-liver tabs: 32 I wasn't as dedicated to the liver tabs as I would ...

Wtmarcus, that's a good idea, I'll do that. I'm pretty sure that famine did its job as well. I was amazed, after the first 12 hours of feast I was up 6.5 lbs! Haha pure food and water obviously, but it sure felt good to eat. Its night of day 2 now and no change in HR, but I'll keep tabs on it throug...

Its the first day of feast now and I'm loving it. I'm doing the liver tabs + water trick to get my weight back up asap (because my pants, belt, and watch are all pretty loose). Not much to report so far in terms of this phase, other than I plan to do the descending calorie routine thats outlined in ...

Actually I had another thought. One of my worries before starting the run was whether or not the famine week workouts would be enough to shock my system... that worry went away after experiencing just how hungry I've been all week. But going back to that, in your experience have your muscles been ov...

I have Multistix and have never seen anything above a trace of protein excretion in my multiple tests during 3 different famines. I think my Multistix may be defective, because I have certainly smelled the difference in my urine during day 4/5 of famine, and noticed a cloudiness to the urine at the...

Morning of day 5 and HR is still decreased. Last night my pm HR was pretty close to average, but this morning my resting HR was still 4 bpm below ave. I do have a pretty slow pulse to begin with (average is 45 bpm), but I dont see why that would matter. The one thing I do have going for me is that I...

Well its the night of famine day#4 here, and I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've been following the rules pretty strictly, with an average daily caloric intake of 1558, and protein intake 32 g (around 85% of the protein intake is literally coming from the 1-2 grams per serving ...

Okay thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I guess my worry is mostly due to the fact that it actually decreased from the average, as opposed to just hasn't increased yet. Also, apparently I'm SOL on the urine testing strips. I called all the drug stores around where I live and NONE of them sell those dam...

Famine day #4: Decreased HR!!! What to do

Its late morning of Day #4 of famine, and both my am and pm heart rates for the last two days have been 2-4 bpm LOWER than average. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm pretty worried that I am going to pre-maturely enter the feast phase before my body is alarmed. INFO: I've been following the rule...
