OT: daily deficit vs. weekly deficit

Mixel, I remember reading somewhere someone saying that you recommended eating 120% of maintenance on lifting days, and 100% on off days for bulking, or 100/70 for cutting. This ring a bell? If not, what are your thoughts about eating more calories on lifting days compared to nonlifting days while s...

Well, I typically don't cycle creatine, but I'm forced to take a 3 week break over this upcoming holiday season. I'll be traveling back home to visit my parents for a bit, and the last thing I want them to give me crap for is some white "mystery" powder. So, I guess another 5 days won't ma...

supplementds during famine

Mixel, what are your thoughts about using Ephedrine/Caffeine during the famine phase? EC just squashes my appetite, and 8*BW should not be a problem for me with it for those 5 days. Also, what are your thoughts are starting creatine monohydrate (3-5g a day) during the famine phase as well, and conti...

Going with an alternative workout program?

Mixel, How (in)effective would it be if I were to follow my own workout program rather than whats outlined in BP2.0? I feel like I know what my body responds to, and at the same time my planned routine keeps many of your core concepts in mind. So long as I bust ass, make regular improvement, follow ...

Famine phase question(s)

Mixel, During the famine phase the slowdown in catabolism and anabolism is triggered not only by the caloric deficit but by the PROTEIN deficit as well, correct? If this is the case, a famine phase on PSMF instead of the suggested low protein diet would defeat the purpose of the famine phase, right?...
