"In muscular dystrophy, defective autophagy is not necessarily a primary source of muscle weakness, but it clearly becomes a problem over time. If you solve that, you can help the situation by maintaining more normal cellular function."

Low protein and autophagy

I listened to this old episode of paleo solution with Matt Lalonde who is a Harvard based scientist. https://chemistry.harvard.edu/people/mathieu-lalonde https://robbwolf.com/2013/12/24/of-episode-68-guest-mat-lalonde/ Close to the end he mentions that he occasionally will have a low-protein dinner ...

These days I only use belt for rack pulls and farmers walk. I do special grip work so now I use straps on some back exercises. It has really improved my back strength, not only that I can do more reps but that I can take shorter rests. Something new I've tried is to do farmers walk with straps. I kn...

Interesting study. I guess the big question is if that rise in testosterone actually does make a difference for building muscle. If you would like to extend feast and you live in a country where you can buy any AAS. Would you still go for DHEA? The goal I guess should be to have as low as possible ...

Hehe, I count in my head for each negative, 4s for example. rep 1 1011 1012 1013 1014 rep 2 1021 1022 .... ... rep 10 1101 1102 1103 1104 rep 11 1111 .... ... This way I know how many reps I did and I make sure speed is always the same. The iso hold is just a pause and for time between sets I've a w...

Really liked this post. I'm planning on reading Brad Schoenfelds Max Muscle Plan after hearing that SHR episode. I feel it also matter a lot how you lift. I've been doing 3sets per exercise now for a while with 20-30 rest between sets. 3s negative on 1 joint exercises and 4s negative on 2 joint. Wit...

I've been doing IF for about 2 years. Have had some months when I go for breakfast just to reset and lower stress. I'm following pretty much what refers to paleo but without nuts and eggs. I've had periods when I went on only greens as carbs and into ketosis. I would suggest to only do it for like 2...

I've learned now during two years that it's a long process to get free from eczema. I can basically not do what other people can with paleo, I've to be very careful. Feels sometimes like one step forward and two steps back. https://www.thepaleomom.com/ A great website by Sarah Ballantyne a PHD that ...

If you look at that list farm raised salmon seems very bad. Something I eat 3kg a week. How would you get a 1:1 omega3 and omega6 ratio without eating salmon? Interesting they rank sweet potatoes lower then most other high carb sources. Which is base of most paleo diets. Carrots, Broccoli, spinach, ...

What is the reactive percentage actually based on?

Isn't it just better to do a food sensitivity test?

Thanks for the tip, will try this out.

I've done the 2 months on and 1 month off protocol. I've always noticed great gains during loading week but haven't noted any decline when I'm going off creatine.

Probably you should stay away from nightshades.
Look into the GAPS diet, it's a bit more hardcore paleo diet.
